JOHNSON AND SON'S CATTLE CO.

THE HISTORY

From the rodeo arena to the Flying Bar S Ranch the Johnson family has come from a long line of Texas cowboys. Originally from Denison, Texas the Johnsons moved to South Carolina in the early 2000s and started Johnson and Sons Cattle Company in 2017.

THE RANCH  

Located in Clinton, South Carolina, the "HJ" was acquired in 2017 and Johnson and Sons Cattle Company was formed. The ranch is ran by Duane Johnson, his wife, and three sons.

 

As cattle producers, Johnson and Sons Cattle Company is committed to raising safe and healthy beef using the practices developed by the Beef Quality Assurance Program. We strive to meet customer's expectations and provide some of the best genetics from across the country to local producers. Every hand on the HJ Ranch is BQA-certified. 

THE FAMILY

The owner of Johnson and Sons Cattle Company is H. Duane Johnson. Duane grew up working for local ranchers in the Texas/Oklahoma area and graduated from Texas A&M University at Commerce. 

Duane met his wife, Carol, in their hometown of Denison, Texas. They have three sons which all attended Clemson University: Hunter ('07 Business), Houston ('12 Turf Grass and Horticulture), and Hudson ('20 Animal Science/Wildlife Gig'em Aggies!). Hunter now resides in Virginia with his wife Erin and their new ranch hands Adelaide and Eliza.
